Exercise helps your brain as well as your body. It does this by increasing the supply of blood to the brain. This helps new neurons and neuron connections to develop. To get the benefit it has to be moderate cardio exercise, so you don’t have to hit the weights in the gym or sign up for intensive circuit training. Walking is perfect, but you have to do it for about 45 minutes at a time at least three times a week. Of course you get other benefits from such physical activity too, but your memory will be improved.
